# Test your club quickly with Test Mode

> Use the Test Mode switch to receive signup and birthday reward emails right away and relax redemption limits while you test your Rewards Club setup.

Test Mode lets you try your Rewards Club as a customer without waiting days for emails to arrive. While it is on, Rewards Club sends signup and birthday reward emails faster and relaxes the limits that normally stop repeated redemptions. Use it to check your setup, then turn it off before real customers join.

> The **Test Mode** switch is shown only on some accounts. If you do not see it near the bottom of the left menu, use **Send Test Email** in any reward editor instead.

## Turn Test Mode on or off

1. In the left menu, find **Test Mode** near the bottom.
2. Click the switch to turn it on. The left menu turns red while Test Mode is on, so you always know it is active.
3. Click the switch again to turn it off. Your normal settings come back.

## What changes while Test Mode is on

| Normally | In Test Mode |
| - | - |
| Signup reward emails follow the usual sending delay | Signup reward emails are sent much faster |
| Birthday rewards are sent a set number of days before the birthday | Birthday reward emails are sent right away |
| Customers must wait between redemptions (see **Minimum Time Between Reward Redemptions**) | The waiting time between redemptions is turned off |
| Location checks may apply to redemptions | Location checks are turned off |
| Customers cannot get Flash Sales too often | The Flash Sale interval is set to zero |

## A quick test

**1. Turn on Test Mode**

Click the **Test Mode** switch in the left menu.

**2. Join your own club**

Sign up with your own email using your website form or your Smart Link from **Sign Up Customers**. Use a birthday close to today.

**3. Check your inbox**

Verify your email, then look for the signup reward and birthday reward emails. Try the **Redeem** button if one-time use is on.

**4. Turn off Test Mode**

Click the switch again before you invite real customers.

> Remember to turn Test Mode off. While it is on, the safeguards that stop customers from redeeming several rewards in one visit are relaxed for everyone in your club.
